Edinburgh PR agency round-up: Taymouth Marina
July has been hectic here at Juggling Swords HQ and we managed to secure great PR coverage for one of our awesome clients, Taymouth Marina.
Taymouth Marina wanted to increase awareness of its stag and hen do summer party options.
The solution was a simple but very effective one. Taymouth Marina is now offering ‘Scotland’s first teetotal stag and hen dos’.
Teetotalism (no alcohol) is currently already has a lot of celebrity backers. This helped add weight to our story.
Juggling Swords has an extensive list of Scottish media contacts and reaching out to them with this story was key to its success.
The results speak for themselves as the media ate up the story.
The initial press release syndicated gained strong coverage in The Scotsman and The Evening Telegraph respectively – The Scotsman, in particular, loved the story and also released it in their food and drink section.
The story then gained substantial traction as The Metro picked it up, as well as Radio Forth later in the week.
With a total of over 1,392,285 opportunities to see, Taymouth Marina better be preparing for a lot of stag and hen dos.
The story blew up on The Scotsman and Evening Telegraph social media channels.
Taymouth Marina was the Evening Telegraph’s most popular story of the day and one of the most popular of the week.
It’s always important to follow your coverage on social media and gauge audience reaction and engagement!
As for the parties themselves, if you like a drink, don’t worry, Taymouth Marina still offers that option. Phew…
